The project
Bloor Homes brought us in to deliver solar PV across a mixed development of 83 new homes in Basingstoke. At this scale, programme alignment is everything. Our role was to design systems that met Part L compliance requirements across a variety of plot types and orientations, integrate with the build programme without causing delays, and hand over certified systems that Bloor could pass directly to buyers.
What we delivered
Solar PV systems across all 83 plots, MCS certified per unit, delivered on programme. Working at development scale means our team coordinates directly with site managers from pre-start through to commissioning. Every plot received a tailored system design based on roof orientation and energy load, and every handover included the full certification pack buyers need for the Smart Export Guarantee.
Why it worked
Bloor Homes operates to tight programmes with no tolerance for trades that cause delays. Our single point of contact model and early-stage design engagement meant solar was never the reason a handover slipped. This is the standard we hold ourselves to on every new build scheme.
